1. I'm still trying to comprehend...
...more harm than good being worth it.

3. The operation was a success
but the patient died.

We had to destroy the village to save it.

Can you say, cognitive dissonance?

6. I don't even believe Amerikan Pravda Polls
Every poll is Freeped.

Unquestionably. If not by the Brownshirts themselves, then by sympathetic Bushevik Mockingbirds embedded in operations.

7. the headline
the headline "Iraqis polled: War did more harm than good but worth it" makes it sound like many Iraqis agree with that statement.

But CNN is mixing together the responses from two different questions to create that bastard child of a response.

more harm than good... but still worth it ???

"Thirty-three percent of those polled said the war had done more good than harm, while 46 percent said it had done more harm than good."

"61 percent of respondents said Saddam Hussein's ouster made it worth any hardships."

So 61 percent agree with the "worth it" part, 46 percent agree with the "more harm than good" part, but only a third think the invasion was a positive thing in the net.
