8. He made his points while stuffing Wolfie's spin back in his face. |
|
Ever since BushInc went after him to assure Chambliss stole his Senate seat, Max has been UNLEASHED and ON FIRE.
He will not give BushInc a moment's peace, and has campaigned actively in as many veteran's halls as he can all over the country. I call Kerry's campaign The Max Cleland Revenge Tour 2004.

Fuck YOU, Pravda Whore! Go back to Russia, where Comrade Putin will apprecaite your ability to lie and work for "managed democracy" even more than your Emperor Bunnypants* does now.

people are pissed off and it's time to hold bushco accountable. If he has any integrity he'd stop toeing the propaganda and ask the hard questions and hold the bastards accountable

13. But he has no integrity |
|
How do you think he keeps that Pravda Whore job.
All the honest actual journalists have been forced to the margins or out of the business entirely by this point.
Journalistsic Integrity, Speaking Truth to Power, and a Desire to Uncover the Truth are NOT job requirements for working at Corproate TV Pravda.
In fact, I think they are detriments. Anyone interviewed with one of the Corporate TV Pravda outlets that can confirm this?
(not that I need any confrimation, really, Totalitarianism as the Nazis, Soviets, or even the "Managed Democracy" that the Busheviks practice, is boringly predictable)

6. Loved Blitzer's closing remarks.. |
|
"Presumably we'll get a very different perspective on this tomorrow when we are joined by the President's good friend, Secretary of Commerce Don Evans."
:puke:
It must have killed Blitzer to give so much air time to Cleland and not be able to interrupt and suck the Bush hind teat.

is the way the talking heads frame the discussion--what Bush did in the National Guard vs. what Kerry did after Vietnam. I've heard several of them make that distinction--including Blitzer and Judy Woodruff earlier. Why is that the comparison? And why are they being so careful to make that distinction? It's true that the republicans have been hammering on the stupid ribbon/medal argument, but they've also questioned whether Kerry was really wounded, have hinted at atrocities (Karen Hughes) and tried to slime the senator with other comments about his service in Vietnam. I wish someone would point this out. The talking heads seems to be trying desperately to transform this into some kind of level playing field by attempting to ignore Kerry's actual Vietnam experience. I thought Max Cleland did a magnificent job of blowing right past that attempt by Blitzer.

19. bothersme too. . . everything the RNC does is pre-planned and |
|
heavily orchestrated. Somewhere there is a big board with Rove's math formula for de-constructing Kerry's Hero status. So far, it's blowing back on them.
The bobble heads seem to be trying to whip up anger in the Reserve corps and make them anti-Kerry. Are they making bush the Reserve Poster Boy so it'll be Poster Boy vs Vietnam War Hero?

23. Believe me: they're not that good |
|
Rove is vindictive, unscrupulous, tireless and very well-funded, but he's not a genius. He's moderately intelligent, and nothing more. The thing that makes them succeed so well is that they lie, keep the offensive, and never apologize. If they're ever outed on anything, they just attack somewhere else, and they make plenty of mistakes along the way. What's needed is to call these guys the monarchists and criminals they are, and to not be afraid of Junior's "appeal".
Little Porgie's at 45% approval; time to point out what a serial liar, greedy elitist and lazy loafing bum he is. People are ready to hear it.
It's all about timing.

He scored many points leaving Blitzer unable to pursue his usual line of questioning. A top notch job.

That was one baaaad asss interview by Max Cleland. I had to come in here and post another to kick this thread. Max hit on all the points that us DUers have been saying and the left wing pundits won't say. Maybe he's been reading DU?
