Why are we in the US eye so much...is Shrub preparing for "Operation blame a new 'other' country?"

I guess we will have to eat freedom bacon if that happens.

17. I thought you had troops. Where did I get that idea? |
|
I guess we would have to rename Celine, Celia Dying.

4. I think O'Reilly wants to declare war on Canada |
|
Since 2 US servicemen deserted to Canada instead of going to Iraq, Billo is demanding Canada hand them over or face a boycott (he thinks he single handedly damaged the French economy you know).
It probably didn't help matters that he had a columnist from the Globe and Mail on his radio show and made an ass of himself trying to pick a fight with the guy.

6. Canada's oil reserves surpass Iraq's |
|
Need I say more.
"Estimates of Canada's oil reserves jumped from 4.9 to 180 billion barrels this year, making it the second-largest oil reserve in the world, acc. to an annual survey by the authoritative O&GJ. While the resource had been known for some time, it has now become economically recoverable and therefore included as "reserves."
"The Alberta oil sands contain tar-like bitumen mixed with sand and clay. Hot water is used to separate the bitumen. Thanks to technology advances that lower the transportation cost of the sands, production costs are now estimated at around $8 a barrel."

That's really life and death. And we jealously guard it, and prohibit bulk export.

natural gas, hydro and diamonds... grrrr
but water is the big one. an interesting anecdote. Many years ago in the community of Deline (in the NWT on Great Bear Lake)(also known as the village of widows because of the cancer deaths of the Native workers hauling uranium ore)(used to make the first atomic bombs)(another story) a Medicine Man had a vision that people from away would come there to take the water. The people in that community take that prophesy VERY seriously.

15. I just sent Bill O'Rielly an Email |
|
Basically informing him of the folley of his stupid ways. I also told him if he continues his anti-Canada crap I'll write letters to some of his sponsors informing them of my boycott of their products. As well, I said I'll encourage others to do the same.
Doubt he'll care, but I do what I can.

to BC for $358 for air and hotel fare. It sounds tempting, but I might not want to come back home.
