IRS Reminds Nonprofits to Avoid Politics
IRS Reminds Nonprofits to Avoid Politics

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Internal Revenue Service on Wednesday reminded charities to steer clear of prohibited political actions during their election-year activities.

Charities, churches, educational institutions and other nonprofit groups organized as tax-exempt organizations cannot participate in or intervene in any political campaign, nor can they advocate for or against any candidate for public office.

2. I threw the guy with one of those slanted "Voter Guides" off the
parsonage property,
AFTER he had the nerve to come to my house when I refused his "guides" at the church.

I told him I would call the police and have him arrested for trespassing when he refused to leave unless I took the guides and promised to give them out at church.

5. This person is a criminal. If he won't leave your property then....
he should be arrested and tried for a criminal act.

3. Tax the churches and all the fanatics at the Womens march for Lives
The priest at the march, tax the church.

The churches talking about Kerry and communion, Tax

All right wing churches, tax.

Pat Robertson TAX.

We could probably pay off Bushes debt with just the churches each putting in 10 -25% toward taxes.... I like that idea

4. They need to remind...
Representatives of the churches who insist on attacking candidate's stances on certain issues. Perhaps these churches should have their exemptions revoked.

6. Lets start taxing the Catholic Church
If the Catholic Church wants to deny communion to Democrats and people who support abortion, then it is time to put all of the church property on the tax rolls and to start taking donations.
