3. Good, BUT...

Folks should be suspicious of think tanks -- all think tanks. They bound neither by the checks and balances of academia nor by journalistic ethics.

It's nice to have a progressive counterweight to the Heritage Foundation and their ilk -- but it's dangerous to accept anything any think tank says at face value.
