1. I so desperately want Wes in the Kerry Admin.
Even as NSA, though I think VP would be an incredibly wise choice for Kerry.

Please - not Gephardt. Anybody but Gephardt. Surely the poor showing would have convinced Kerry not to pick that man? Worthy service, but not VP material.

3. It was pretty tepid
Clark has now adopted Kerry's add another division policy. Gave the same defense of the medals issue, but added a "time to move on" at the end.

4. Another clinic by the master statesman warrior.

Said we need more troops, implied fast. A division at least, or more. He doesn't know why they have not (presumptively) been requested or sent.

Must have enough to control borders, really control supply routes and a reserve for reacting to things like Fallujah.

Military leadership should have been more influential in pre-war planning. They were not resourced with enough forces and civilian agency support to make it work. Time is now running out.

Etc.

Could Kerry realistically do any different than Shrub? Certainly, very different; true internationalization, changing US role, etc.

Chided "there's a whole crowd of people in the Republican party who didn't serve during the war" who "don't have any right" to attack Kerry's military record.

Said Kerry's service was heroic and honorable, and he was proud he was a fellow veteran.

6. Love Wes

He is "Mr. Silk.!"

When you see him on TV, you know you will be hearing the truth. Not some BS
