When will we finally learn the truth about today? |
|
Buchanan is on Countdown calling today's Chimpy testimony a "coup".
"A Brilliant Move".
I'm not buying the crap coming out of that meeting.
The Republicans are falling all over themselves saying what a good job Chimpy did.
And just why did the two Dems leave like that, citing previously scheduled meetings?
Something stinks to high heaven here.

how disrepectful it was for Kerrey and Hamilton to get up and leave. I would say it was much more disrespectful for bush to say he "enjoyed" the questioning. Especially to the 9-11 families.

2. How would anyone know? |
|
That's the sad point, Bush can say whatever he wants about how he did and who can dispute it? I know better. Maybe the Democrats knew this was a BS meeting and decided to boycott the charade by leaving.

and that has been the way it has been for the past three and half years.
and it will be perfectly acceptable to some, that we , the mere paeons, the worker slaves, the "little people" who have no money to brag about, should not be privy to knowing what our government is doing, even though there is an idiot, a stupid man, an evil man, a ,man without a sense of honor, who is so stupid that the majority of us, the little people, have an IQ that is more than his, can ever, ever question this idiot.
And the wonderful, most luxurious of all the corrupted, media will not either

5. Great Analogy...Played 4 Corners |
|
I heard someone use that term in describing this dog & pony show.
First, the committee sat on couches and probably got the personal tour of the Oval Office prior to the "testimony". Then there's all the aides moving in and out to keep people distracted.
This wasn't testimony with a clock in front of a panel. This was Bunnypants sitting back behind the desk holding court and all were being manipulated according to plan. We've already seen how the manchild has mastered both the non-answer and the non-denial denial...and chew up 10 minutes of semi-intelligible verbage in doing it. He just rambled, joked and moved on. Follow up? Maybe, but it probably got answered with more double-speak and non-answers.
And whose to know? There's no transcript, not even a questions list. Surely GOOP talking points were out early and often, though. If a Democrat says anything about what was discussed...despite it not being sequestered or under oath or seal or any legal gag order, he/she will be attacked as "unpatriotic", lying, distorting and politicizing...the usual junkyard dog tactics. But Fatass Thompson can call it a "5-Star Performance". Sure was...5-Star Bullshit!

Randi Rhodes told a joke today:
Want to drive Bush crazy in the Oval Office?
Tell him to stand in the corner.

8. We already know the truth. |

Bush and Cheney did less than absolutely nothing to protect America while the Hart-Rudman Commission, the outgoing Clinton Administration, every anti-terrorism expert involved and intelligence reports from around the world were all warning them about just such a danger.
What more do you need?

9. I don't care-it's all BS anyway, it wasn't under oath nor recorded |
|
and even Pat Buchanon said that had Bush had a formal meeting in which he was under oath, it would not have gone so well. I'm sure there's something about being able to BS, knowing that you won't be held accountable, can pat bald heads and crack jokes about missing WMD that make one's *testimony* roll out like goo. I'm GLAD we won't hear it, or have that nonsense made public.

10. I heard that word COUP and I spit out my dinner |
|
I don't think the public buys it. They may be apathetic, lazy, and distanced but even the CNN poll was showing they think they are hiding something.
They controlled everything, and it was designed to be intimadating to those asking the questions. It was a farcey farce, and I almost couldn't stand to watch any TV today.
I just kept thinking how I would feel if I were 9/11 relative/ loved one today and had to hear this.
Think what a media portrayal like this makes them feel.
