I just found a copy of a Letter to the Editor that was publish in the SF Chronicle in January 2003.

I was writing in response to someone who was criticizing the anti-war marchers as being pro-Saddam.

"___________ implies that protesting the upcoming war in Iraq and opposing Saddam Hussein's murderous regime are somehow mutually exclusive.

It is a big assumption to believe that a unilateral attack liberating Iraq will bring stability to that country in the coming months. One only has to look at the current situation in Afghanistan to realize that. Liberated, Afghanistan may be - stable it is not."

And Rummy was surprised, said no one predicted this mess.

I did!!! They should have listened to me!!!!!!!!!! (Hell, they should have listened to all of us...
