suggest that he stop saying that he has endorsed kerry ,but Kerry is going to lose by 6-7 points, or endorse Bush. Democrats don't need people like Imus that keep saying Kerry is going to lose!! imus@msnbc.com

when a person get on national TV five days a week and states that Kerry is going to lose, thousands of people in America won't vote or support someone that Imus says is a loser .. email him folks, tell him to shut up..

10. What the poster is saying is, saying he endorses Kerry, but that Kerry.. |
|
is going to lose is no support at all. So either really support him or don't support him at all. I agree. By saying that Kerry is going to lose everyday, he is branding Kerry a loser. I would rather have Imus go ahead and endorse bush than to give this week support for Kerry. Afterall, Gore survived the lack of Imus support. Imus is not the end all and be all of endorsements.

5. You're right - definite tendency to jump to the winning side. |

Common knowledge in politics - if voters think their vote won't count, they are much less likely to bother to go to the polls. Think of the people who, according to surveys, remain undecided. They are exactly the group which would be influenced by a perception that one candidate is sure to win.
Does Imus explain where he came up with that percentage? Is he setting the stage to make a pitch to Nader supporters that their candidate could make the critical difference?

6. Imus has to be fucking around |
|
He loves Bush for some reason. My father met him 3 weeks ago in regards with a speking engagement and he was raving about Bush. Of course he could have changed his mind, but I don't think he has. I smell a ploy to get this story out there that Kerry is a loser. If he really supported him he would never say that, knowing the influence he has.

that Imus actually supports Kerry.....which I think is shamefully naive of you. Imus is nothing more than Chris Matthews with potty mouth. He's a disingenuous, bipolar, sycophant, ass licker. Most importantly however, Imus is into making Imus money...and he'll stir up shit and play his audience in any way he can to do that very thing. Pointing to who and what he supports from one day the the next is impossible. HE HAS NO POSITION ON ANYTHING. Have you ever heard him come right out and say how exactly he feels about something and WHY? Nope...all you'll ever hear him do is call people dumb, stupid, idiots, awful, nice guys, nice man, fat...etc. etc.

7. What's Wrong With Low Expectations??? |
|
At least in this case...look how the propoganda of low expectations has been played like a violin by this regime. Bunnypants didn't have to debate, just showing up and not falling down was a victory...or a press conference where he never answers a question or the 9/11 commission where his "5-Star performance" is one of those "you'll have to take your word for it" things.
The GOOPs have made an artform of dumbing down the government and the media. Everyone knows * is dumber than a box of rocks, but it's somehow OK. Well, why not for Kerry?
Part of me says Imus is playing around...especially with the GOOPs...to get a reaction which means press which means listeners. He chided EvilSanctorum this morning waiving his 10 million listeners in the bastard's face. Imus knows how to play an audience and also knows he has to keep this game fresh for another 6 months.
If you're looking for some outright Kerry cheerleading, tune to Stern. Imus will play it for the value of attracting an audience and turning it into ratings. That's all that matters to the man.

11. Nope! Imus is definately an asshole. If you look "asshole" up.. |
|
in the dictionary you will see a picture of Imus. If Imus is going to brand Kerry a loser everyday, I would rather he go ahead and endorse bush. In effect, that is what he's doing anyway.

choice, but when making my rounds, at least 65 out of 120 rms have Imus on so i catch a little, to me Imus is worse than a soap opera, they all seem to be living a life of pain and bitching about everything in the world.pathetic group. maybe a few hundred emails a day will either make him shut up or change his email addy. at least it will annoy someone in his circle..

12. Imus has been eating Republicans for breakfast lately |
|
He absolutely laid into J.D. Hayworth the other day. (Fat boy has had his stomach stapled. Too bad it wasn't his mouth.) If they were in the same room, they would have come to blows. And he chewed up Rick Santorum and spit him out today, asking him if he wasn't embarrassed at "his guy" not being man enough to face the 9/11 commission by himself. Believe it or not, Santorum admitted that he was "disappointed."

15. I Saw The InnerSantorum...Imus Really Got Him |
|
At one point Imus said something like "You really must drink the Kool-Aid" after some idiotic spin about Bunnypants (Imus also nailed him on his half-assed support for Specter)...Santorum sounded stunned for a sec, then went back into slime-mode with "Yeah, you're right, I do"...
Like him or hate him...Imus has survived all these years for one very important reason...he knows his audience and how to keep them listening. Boorish, sexist, racist...call it what you will, but if it wasn't playing, he wouldn't have built up the audience and career he has. It ain't easy, just ask Al Franken.

16. "Why don't you go eat a grape, Congressman" |
|
That was so funny!! He ragged on him about how he doesn't have the mental fortitude to just push away from the table, that he had to get his stomach stapled instead. No slag on people who do this procedure, but from a complete repuke blowhard like JD to not take "personal responsibility:, it was hilarious!

A suggestion to the posters here: E-mail Oprah Winfrey encourage her to interview Kerry on her program. I think exposure on her program would do him a lot of good.
