what about the 2,500 soldiers crippled, blinded, and burned?
they are being HIDDEN FROM US as if we are ashamed of them.
not to mention the 10 or 20,000 dead in afghanistan and iraq.

where are the broken men and women? i want to hear them speak, see their injuries, and i want bushco to stop hiding the dead and injured AS IF WE WERE ASHAMED OF THEM. i know why they are hiding them. it will turn stomachs, and startle the hypnotized out of their stupor.

3. I heard the lolo prez makes a lolo statement at Walter Reed
where he sez something like the following, "I hope these guys get better soon so they go back to finish the job". The First idiot was in the amputee ward. WTF?

15. These people need help. Volunteer groups should be visiting them
and helping in everyway possible. I am sure the government is prevent this.

2. you're right on - and how many of these maimed soldiers would the right
attack, in Coulter-esque style, to try to minimize their injuries? It would be too much work for them.

Maybe Nightline's show tonight will be a start and we can agitate and demonstrate to bring our wounded to the limelight. Way back, remember Cher calling in to c-span talking about her visits to the vet hospital? Why couldn't more people like her talk about their visits to the VA's?

Yesterday the O'Franken Factor featured David Sirota breaking a story about Bremer chastising the bush admin over lack of preparedness for terrorist attacks (this was pre-9/11). Suddenly, 2 major networks reported on this story last night.

Al and Katherine could somehow dig into this issue of our war wounded and get it out there - maybe they could trigger the networks to do the same.

10. Who can post the picture of Rumsfeld shaking Sadaams hand
Edited on Fri Apr-30-04 07:41 AM by SCDem
while Sadaam was creating those mass graves. And who can post the CDC info memo about the chemicals that we gave Sadaam when he was creating those graves.

The GOP was complit in the graves then because it was a political advantage and only bring them up now because it is politically expedient.

13. Do you remember that there was a war between Iraq and Iran
that killed hundreds of thousands on both sides. Many of the corpses in those graves could very well be the dead from that conflict.

8. I suspect far less with be spent for their needs during their lifetimes
than Halliburton profits on this war in a few days: after all, we must keep our priorities right (far right).
