I know I know the banner put it in everyone's mind and it is referred to as the "Mission Accomplished" speech but (see my Remember:... post above for link) he never actually said "mission accomplished"-they really are THAT slimy.

Flyers who have worn these parachute harnesses say that it is VERY uncomfortable, if not painful, to walk around that way which "may" account for the grimacing expression on Mr. Bush's face.

just did a great segment on this, covering the # of soldiers dead at the time of bush's "Mission Accomplished" versus the # now. The also showed clips of Robert Bird and Ted Kennedy and their comments on the failure of bush's policy on Iraq, it was great to see!
