Please Keep this Kicked - Hardball Tonight
Lesley Stahl will be on, and ads say she will be apologizing for the media's role in getting us into Iraq!!!!

For me this is huge!! I've been furious with the media for allowing B* to insinuate a connection between 9-11 and Iraq, and al qaida and Iraq. I've emailed many of them myself over the past year.

Lesley Stahl has never been my favorite 60 Minutes anchor, but I might have to change my opinion of her after tonight!

Hardball is on at 7PM est, on MSNBC.

9. I just posted the same thread
I heard Tweety talking about it on Imus during my drive in to work.

It's on the Hardball front page: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036697/

3. I saw a clip of Leslie Stahl
commenting on how she regrets not asking tougher questions in the build-up to the invasion of Iraq. I guess some journalists are introspective and realize that their failure to do their jobs can have horrible consequences.

Let's hope that Stahl and others will be more responsible in the future.

5. Momentum is building. Stahl, coupled with Rumsfeld's statement
that Iraq wasn't connected and now Barry McCaffrey saying that we have literally surrendered in Fallujah will pick up steam. We can only hope that some more military people will speak the truth about us having lost Iraq. Hats off to Stahl. Hope it becomes an epidemic.

8. I will be watching.
Even though I dislike the channel, moderator, and not that impressed with the guest. It would just be nice if some of these talking heads wake up and join the adult generation. Thanks for the information.

13. She should have had that thought back then
Her regret won't bring back the many thousands killed and wounded over there.

15. In Leslie Stahl's book
Edited on Fri Apr-30-04 06:20 PM by kskiska
she said she believes that Reagan's Alzheimer's was evident during his administration, and has given examples of it. The media covered that up at the time, too. It was evident to anyone, just like it is with *, that something was going on there, but no one would talk about it. She could have said something then, too.

B* is like Reagan???? Hell no, B* isn't fit to be Reagan's boot polisher!!

At least Reagan had class and a brain - B* has neither!!

B* and Leslie Stahl are both idiots!
