2. Interesting how supporting our troops is now UNpatriotic, eh?

Before, when we were saying let's save their lives by not sending them to battle, we were unpatriotic for not supporting them. Now, when we are saying that our fallen soldiers deserve the honor and respect of at least being mourned by our nation, at least being acknowledged, we are unpatriotic.

Then of course their is Viet Nam. Our candidate, who fought in Viet Nam, is no longer supported as a soldier, he's ridiculed. Daschle, who fought, who wore "our nation's uniform," is shown in a commercial by the Republicans wearing a turban and implying he supports Bin Laden. Max Cleland... You get the idea.

Republicans abandon our troops as soon as they are finished using them up.

3. Even if your ABC isn't owned by them, e-mail their Home Page and Complain!

Although Sinclair owns a station here in Raleigh, my ABC station is still independent. But I'm so angry I e-mailed their home page and every one of their "Newsteam" thats listed in their Maryland Headquarters.

I said how could they be so unpatriotic as to censor the reading of the names of the brave Men and Women who have lost their lives defending us from Terrorism. And I said when a "Liberal" like Ted Koppel is willing to read these names on air how could they not support this? I said so many complained that our VietNam soldiers were forgotten and yet when our brave "Freedom Fighters" are in Iraq and Afghanistan battling evil, we refuse to honor them once again. :D

Just threw their hypocracy right back in their faces. The more they hear from us the better it is. Sticks it right to Bush whose benefitting from all the cash they've given him. A DU'er looked up who their Management and Owners give to and its All Repug and almost all Bush. Although one did give to Lieberman (figures...) :-(

It is noble for you to attempt to pursue fairness in reporting, and to present an unbiased picture to the public. In said pursuit, it is VITAL to present the public with not only the benefits of war, but its cost. It is disgusting that you will not air the names of our fallen heroes. How dare you take away our country’s ability to HONOR and GRIEVE for OUR TROOPS AS A NATION.

And you say you’re an American. And you say that Koppel has an agenda. It sounds like it is YOU who HAVE AN AGENDA!!!

Other Countries are allowed to honor their troops when they come home. They allow their nation to Grieve and Honor the dead. Yet, we as Americans are not allowed?

sinclair execs have already shown their contempt for us, calling us "the loony left", "the hate america crowd", and claiming koppel is anitwar "propaganda"

they won't listen to a thing we say. these are arrogant bush donors.

local stations have no contol over the decision. i know folks at the wv affiliate who are, in fact, quite progressive

we need to hurt sinclair, plain and simple.

it's time for a boycott. we can get veterans groups on board and coordinate this thing through progressive websites and radio
