Bush is a coward - who wants a coward as their president?
I just can't figure that out. What are these people thinking? Are they all on Oxycontin and Xanax and whatever other drugs people use to numb their brains?

Bush says he has nothing to hide or he wouldn't have met with the commission. What does it say then that he fought like hell against even HAVING a commission? That he refused to testify? That he had to have his hand held by his Unka Dick?

It's getting harder and harder for me to believe what's going on...

4. Shoot, they love their dumba$$es in the reduhlican party

Remember Quayle? Didn't they defend his drunk a$$ too?

At least I think *some* of his more idiotic comments were made possible by large quantities of alcoholic beverages. At least the one about Hawaii... I know he was drunk for that one.

I think they're proud of their stupid boy king. Maybe it makes them feel smart? Could that explain why?

*sigh* it just makes no sense.

2. Exactly - with all this talk about Bush*

being a man's man, a manly man, he-man macho uber-mann crap, you would think that this latest act of indefensible cowardice would tip some of these brain-dead believers off.

I mean, it has to affect them on a visceral level, even without processing it mentally. He has done NOTHING but run away his entire life - when will people get a clue? :grr:

3. That's exactly what I'm wondering
As you say, this should affect them on a very deep level. Not being a 'man' digs against something they love to brag on about their boy king. Now he's shown the whole world (AGAIN) what a lie that is.

Saw another bush/cheney sticker yesterday. That makes 3 or 4 vehicles with them I've seen in the North Dallas area. It gives me a small amount of hope that there are more waking up than is made public. :)

9. That's what I've been thinking up to now
But now we have Fallujah and his childish 9/11 commission demands... how long can stupidity an denial hold up? For how many?

I hope Kerry co-sponsors that RECORD Act soon. That's the only issue keeping me from thinking Kerry's got this one in the bag already.

12. ahh... THAT Record Act
yesterday my boss in VA made fun of Cali for our insistence on paper records, asking me if I needed a box of crayons sent to me so that I can vote properly.

I replied that I had been hammering the sec of state and local officials DEMANDING a paper receipt!

that shut her up fast

I'll give her credit, though.. she IS sending a care package to Mari333's stepson's unit :toast:

I was never a big fan of Bill's, but compared to dubya, he's a mountain of a man!
