Where's Bush's "Band of Brothers"--was he more AWOL than we know?
Kerry has often had his "Band of Brothers" surrounding him on stage - the guys he served with in Nam. But, seriously, where are Bush's?? I'm not talking about his AWOL, thus non-existent" buddies from Alabama; I'm talking about "buddies" from his first years of "honorable service"?? Did he not have any friends in the Texas Guard? Didn't he hang out for some beers with the guys (god knows he wasn't adverse to a few beers---with a few chasers)? Definitely his
Daddy would have seen to it when he was running for any office that he had the "buddies" around so as to get the military/vet vote. Where are they? Why do we think that his decision to "forget about this stupid playing soldier boy" attitude just took place in the last year? How many times was he AWOL in Texas? His daddy had the powerful connections right to the top of the Guard to get him in in the first place. Do you think he would have been afraid of punishment if the didn't show up now and then----it didn't scare him to blow off the Alabama Guard? It would be very interesting to see this investigated and to see how many Guard checks he cashed. I say he doesn't have any old comrades because he was very seldom in attendance.

I was in the Army 85-91. Although I haven't kept in touch with many of by Army buddies in recent years, with probably 30 minutes of internet searches I couple probably find multiple people who could personally vouch for my time in the service. But the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES can't do it - it's amazing.

2. Just look who surrounds him now
It looks like he has no friends. They are all friends of Dad.

3. It was a champagne unit.
They were all sons of the rich and elite. None of them wants to come forward now and admit they were given special priveleges. Dubya is on his own.

4. Since he did have a few photo shots and at least some
military records, I suspect he was there. There hasn't been anyone dispute that he did have his pilot license and that does take some time. Maybe he was viewed by his "non-buddies" as the spoiled, arrogant rich kid who always got what he wanted, in and out of the military, that nobody liked him.

That's why nobody is coming forward. Even after he became Presidenet, they don't want to recognize him or be around him.
