Help. Information on Laura Bush.

Can someone give me a link to the Laura Bush accident in which she killed her boyfriend? I was telling a co-worker about this and they didn't believe me. Does anyone know whether drunk driving was involved or was it an accident?

5. Laura Flanders, author of "Bushwomen," discussed it on C-SPAN.

Her account was that the teenaged Laura Welch ran a stop sign and hit the vehicle of a classmate (and former boyfriend), who was killed. Flanders said no charges were brought against Welch.

Ann Gerhart, author of "The Perfect Wife," referred to the incident at a book signing recently and called it "an accident," if I recall correctly. I haven't read her book and don't know if an account is there.

On edit: One of them (I think it was Flanders) noted that the incident did not ruin Laura Welch's life, and indeed I rarely hear a thing about it. I would never be able to live with myself if I ran a stop sign and killed somebody.

6. She's a pathetic enabler.. She drove her car into her former boyfriend's

car..and he died.. She went to college.. became a teacher..taught for a year..became a librarian..(short time there too).. she was "chosen" for W's political wife.. she had a difficult delivery with the twins..had no more kids.. she is a smoker (no biggie..I am too:)..)..she is the prototype of the subservient political wife.. she has a weird little finger action when she waves.. freaks me out..

oh ..one more thing.. she likes to wear tablecloths..and apparently her couture is vintage JCPenney.
