We can write them all they want, but their own executives have shown time and time again that their a bunch of wingnut reactionaries. We can send them alllthe mail they want, but they won't listen. It's time for a boycott of their stations. That's the only way they'll listen.
The rightwing has been successful in controlling the agenda through freeper mail-in campaigns for far too long. It's time we put pressure on the media and show them that we're out here and we're not going to take it.
We need to organize a progressive campaign to force sinclair to give its viewers balanced news. We can do this through DU and all of the other progressive websites. We can take this thing to AAR and if we get enough momentum, the mainstream media.
We need to list all of these stations, start naming sponsors and then writing them. We need to write the newspapers in every town with a sinclair station. We need to get veterans groups involved. John McCain coming out against Sinclair today is a good thing.
The media is focused on this company as we speak. If we strike now, we can make a difference.
