(BBV=black box voting=voting on electronic machines which don't print paper ballots)
Please call each of your Senator's offices and leave a message for them to support "The RECORD Act of 2004," bill number S.2313, which requires paper ballots be printed by electronic voting machines.
You can contact the office of any Senator by dialing
1-800-839-5276
and asking to be transferred to that Senator's office.
Then leave a message such as "I'd like for the Senator to please cosponsor 'The RECORD Act of 2004,' bill number S.2313, which requires paper ballots be printed by electronic voting machines."
The Senators who are already sponsoring the bill are: Bob Graham (FL), Hillary Clinton (NY) and Barbara Boxer (CA), who previously introduced other bills on this subject. Other cosponsors of the RECORD Act include Charles Schumer (NY), Ernest Hollings (SC), Frank Lautenberg (NJ), Blanche Lincoln (AR) and Bill Nelson (FL).
After Senators Bob Graham, Hillary Clinton, and Barbara Boxer each introduced their own bills on this subject, they came together to produce "The RECORD Act."
It has more cosponsors than similar Senate bills.
