Pressure other network affiliates in Sinclair cities to pick up nightline |
|
Edited on Fri Apr-30-04 05:36 PM by ann_coulter_is_a_man
it worked in Greenville and Nashville, where FOX took up the show
unfortunately, SINclair also owns FOX in my town
Here are Charleston, WV's other networks NBS - WSAZ: newschannel3@wsaz.com CBS - WOWK: programming@wowktv.com
I'm sending them a polite letter urging them to do what sinclair is afraid to.
Does anyone have any info for the other 6 cities?
WSYX-- Columbus, Ohio? KDNL-- St. Louis, Mo.? WEAR-- Mobile, AL & Pensacola, Fla.? WLOS-- Asheville, N.C. ? WGGB-- Springfield, Mass.? WTXL-- Tallahassee, Fla.?

in the case of Nashville and Greensboro, the local FOX affiliates decided to air the show since ABC wouldn't. Maybe we can get this to happen in other cities

3. Yeah, but one of ABCs local affiliates is misbehaving |
|
ABC is already allowing FOX to run it in one city, I'm sure they would be willing to allow other stations to run it as well.

4. I'd send a message to many businesses in the areas affected |

saying that the local (Sinclair) station was disrespecting the soldiers.
Ask them to refuse to advertise, or pull their ads.
That might get their attention.
I wonder if any of these stations were told to pull the broadcast of the names of the 9/11 victims . . . (I know, ABC wasn't the broadcast of the 2002 Superbowl).
