5. John Fund is very hard to watch.
He's a guy that makes you want to get up and change the channel. If that other guy hadn't knocked him around so well, I wouldn't have managed to stay and listen to Leslie Stahl.

I think the Bush Regime is collapsing.

7. Leslie Stahl just said that the public "loves" Bush.
That's not what I see. I see a lot of people who are uncomfortable talking about him, and they're hardcore Republicans. In fact, I live in one of the most R areas in the country, and I never hear anybody talk about Bush.

she was doing ok, then the stupid gene took over all of a sudden.

How the fuck can she say the public loves that idiot?

What a waste of time.

11. but I think she made a good point about *hillbillying*
which, incidentally, being from texas,I have NEVER HEARD before! But I agree with the principle, which is that Kerry definitely should learn to shmooze some more and be more charming. Yes, I know that, as Maher said, we don't have to sleep with him, but would it hurt him to smile a little more?

13. Yeah, that's why he can't appear in public
Bush might get mobbed by his adoring fans!

Tell me another one, Lesley.

14. What I liked in her interview
- The book by Woodward is AS BUSH WANTS HIMSELF PRESENTED.
-Her 60 minute interviews where Iraq told her there was no WMD, that there was no connection wtih 911/Al Qaida was right.
- That there's something strange about Bush and Cheney's relationship as described in Woodward
- that the *Father* thing is odd and maybe requires being psychoanalyzed.
-I admire that she, unlike the other media whores, actually apologized for reporting it wrong.

I agree with the Bush emulating Reagan persona but the media feeds that image, for example, by NOT putting in all those awful parts from the "Stay the Course" press conference where he sounded like a drooling moron.
