John Hagee in retrospect
Just thinking back to about 14 months ago, when all the evangelical psychos on tbn especially john hagee had all these commercials with doom music "This will not be a cake war, israel will be attacked, we are in the last days"

WEll Fuck Them. And the people that beleive it.

4. The END TIME movie called
was made by the son of Jan and Paul Crouch who own and operate TBN.
Jan of course is the one with the bizarre hair inhabited by at least one family of gerbils.

8. series of movies on rapture etc
Third in series - Tribulation

One evening, police detective Tom Canboro (Gary Busey) finds himself battling more than thieves and thugs as he becomes entangled in the activities of an underground group who possess frightening psychic powers. As these powers are unleashed upon his family, Tom rushes to the rescue of his wife (Sheri Miller), his sister (Margot Kidder) and his brother-in-law (Howie Mandel). Before he can reach them however, a mysterious force takes control of his car and rushes him headlong into an oncoming truck.

There is nothing but blackness.

Tom wakes up -- years later -- in a hospital bed. As he staggers to consciousness, he finds himself in a world unlike anything he could have ever imagined. Is the devil really running the world, or is Tom still lying in that bed, with all of this nothing more than a creation of his badly damaged brain?

It doesn't take Tom long to realize that Franco Macalusso (Nick Mancuso) is no dream. The world has changed dramatically, and there may be no other explanation than the fact that Bible prophecy is coming to pass right before his eyes! Millions have disappeared and no one who has been left behind can even remember that they ever existed! The mark of the beast is everywhere and those who have not accepted it are being ruthlessly hunted down. The most wanted is Helen Hannah (Leigh Lewis) and her band of Christian believers who are exposing this self-proclaimed Messiah as the devil himself.

In the midst of all this, Tom discovers that his wife is still alive, and has become a part of this underground resistance, known to the world as the 'haters'. Pursued every step of the way by the same dark forces that he encountered before the rapture, he finds himself in an intense physical, mental and spiritual journey -- with the souls of millions hanging in the balance.

2. My problem with "end times"
as advanced by Hagee and the other evangelists, is that nobody seems at all apprehensive about all that is supposed to go along with it.....rapture, tribulations, etc. No one appears afraid of the planet falling apart or even excited but the prospect of seeing people, including two over three hundred pounds, like Hagee, just floating up into the air and disappearing among the clouds. And no on e seems to be nervous that they might be among those who don't float away but go to hell instead.
In fact, I don't think Christians buy the idea of Armageddon one bit. They just nod their heads because these days, it the thing to do. Its become for Christians, politically correct.

5. In retrospect, the guy's richer than Jesus.
Way richer.

For 2001, his compensation package was $1,250,000.

I wonder what he's doing with all that cash if it's the end days.

This town has made me give up on people. Yeah, I live in San Antonio.

Yeah, I had one of Hagee's church buses cut me off on the road today. Not the old Baptist school bus thing, but one of the plush ones that the rental car and hotel chains use to pick you up at the airport.

That man is a pig, and if he is a Christian, or can even remotely be called a religious man, then God would have to be Satan. Being a believer that God is good, obviously I know that it is not true. Therefore everything he does, is for money, and not because of belief. What kills me is how many people he seems to have fooled. He is the worst of the hate spewers ever!

7. One of my mindless, twit friends,
an uber patriot (who I seems to have more of now than before 9/11) sent me some smirky, snarky "prayer for the soldiers" today.

From: The Right (VERY RIGHT!) Reverend John Hagee.
