Nora O'Donnell & MSNBC
I swear we do not have real reporters any more. We only have people who repeat what B* says, over and over. What a shill. I am old enough to remember when we had real reporters and real news reporters who did leg work to find out things before the administrations wanted it reported.

I have already unprogrammed Fox from all my channel changers so when I am flipping I do not even have to see their crap. Guess I am going to have to unprogram cnn and msnbc, and nbc.

Thanks for letting me rant.

1. That coupled with Candy Crowley covering the Kerry campaign.
They could at least get a reporter who would say something nice about Kerry if they are going to cover his campaign. She is a useless waste of space.

2. To be fair
Nora was the reporter who put Bush on the spot about the "Mission Accomplished" banner on the aircraft carrier.

Sorry, went to high school with her, and have found her to be pretty good overall.

3. Hate Nora's partisan-ness, but I love her sexy Irish eyes and smile...
Drives me crazy just thinking about it.

4. You went to school with her?
Does she have a sister in the business? I forget her name, but there is another O'Donnell out there.

BTW, I find Nora to be sincere and diligent, and if not as tough as I'd like, tougher than many. And certainly no shill.

21. haha
I'm afriad not, I only spoke with her once since highschool - and that was to congratulate her after I saw her on TV during the Clinton Impeachment (and only then after seeing she was not being partisan ;). She had been working at Roll Call, the congressional publication. Now she is on the White House beat. I stood up and cheered for her when she asked Bush about the Mission Accomplished banner - whether it was approved by the White House - and he stumbled with his answer. The story made the top of the news that night on almost every station.

9. At least MSNBC has Imus & Olbermann
at least they aren't currently buying the Repug party line and reading off their White-House supplied "talking points" crib notes

10. Only the most ignorant mouth breathing knuckle dragger's could...
...believe the current Bush spin over the rape/murder/torture scandal. Really. That is the truth. There is no spin here. Its over. There is nothing that can be said here that improves the Bushies position here. The more they say the worse it gets. The party is over. I wonder who Bush is going to be replaced with to run in November?

Don

12. Well put.
My thoughts exactly.

But, if I have learned anything over the past few years, it is that the American people will buy into anything that suits their own Machiavellian agenda. We have proven to be selfish beyond all belief.

re: Nora: I guess the green eyes got to me.............dang.

11. Nora
Nora frequently calls in to the Imus show....I never got the idea that she is slanted toward conservative thought at all. She does a pretty good job when she is just conversing, and not reporting directly.

15. yeah, I wonder...
She was on Matthew's little panel during the primaries, and a couple of times she seemed really upset when some of them were going after Howard Dean. I got the strong impression she was a Dean supporter, although she never said this. Then again, she could have been a KKKarl Rove kinda Dean supporter...

Anyway, I thought she was pretty fair during those sessions. I don't watch MSRNC's news coverage, so I could be completely off base.

18. Nora is OK in my book. I have never been pissed off at anything she said.
Edited on Wed May-05-04 11:44 AM by TruthIsAll
But I never watch anymore. I can't stand it. So maybe she has capitulated like the rest and needs her job.

She is no dummy, that's for sure. I'm sure she hates everything about her job, except the $.

And, yes, she is very cute.
