"We need a President who will restore honor and dignity to the oval office |
|
Edited on Sat May-08-04 08:05 PM by devrc243
Remember how much we heard this from the right during the 2000 election? I lived in Texas and that's ALL I heard. That was THEIR slogan. THEIR way to say "shame has come to the oval office by way of Bill Clinton, vote for GW and restore honor and dignity to the oval office."
Funny how what goes around DOES INDEED come back around. I was told by my mother years ago to be careful with what you say and do to others 'cause "karma" has a way of setting the "ways of balance."

We need a man of peace. Kerry is not that man. Unfortunately he is what we have and better than Bush.

16. The only way there will |
|
be any healing is for those criminal acts to be treated as such and let the punishment fit the crime by our own US standards. The only healing the world will feel is for the people responsible for this most unjust war and it's consequences is to admit their 'mistakes' and do the honorable thing by immediately stepping down. If they are without honor, then they should be forced to do so through the process of impeachment. By waiting for a change of administration it will be too late to show the world that this nation will not tolerate for one minute longer this sort of abomination created through the corrupt policies of the present administration.

17. US honesty and integrity |
|
is down the tube. We cannot wait until a change of administration to right the wrongs committed by Bushco. As stated, Bush and Cheney should step down just as Nixon did, leaving room for some modicum of honor. This and only this will show the rest of the world, in the long run, that we are a country of honorable people. That might restore trust that we respect our Constitution, honor and integrity. Ultimately we are a nation of caring people who try to do the right thing. Now we have to prove that. We have to prove that we are not a nation of vicious, warmongering killers and rapists.

diversity again. The world is not made up of polar opposites like Patriots or Terrorists, Black or White, Believer or Infidel etc.
