Anybody notice a pattern when anything goes wrong in Iraq? |
|
They can't get the electricity on. Not of enough troops to do the job. Can't stop convoys from being attacked. Not enough troops. Can't get the oil flowing. Not enough troops. Can't stablize cities. Not enough troops. Can't properly guard prisoners. Not enough troops. Jeez, sure glad they never listen to the former Chief of Staff for the Army.

1. What they really do is say "We will send more troops if requested by the |
|
military, then the military doesn't request them. Maybe * gave them a direct order not to do that. They put the burden on the military, where is the CIC???

2. We don't have enough troops |
|
we need at least five more combat divisions...
So when they request more troops they have run out of troops
We have no strategic depth or reserves left

4. That's the only thing slowing the PNAC crowd down |
|
They want to attack Syria and Iran, but are bogged down in Iraq.
If Bush cheats his way back in, there will be a draft, and their plan for Empire will proceed.
Social security will fund it. After all, with Armageddon just around the corner, we won't need it.

5. Do think if you were in charge you would look at what offensive resources |
|
you had an make a decision to invade another country based on the amount you had. They knew we didn't have the troops or the equipment to do this. We do have enough to defeat any country on earth. But you can't stop looters and rapes and murder and rebuild country's infastructure with a fucking cruise missle. Do you really have to be a national military expert to understand that?

8. Please consider the possibility that what we really need |
|
is to get the fuck out. We can't even set up an occupation, let alone a democracy there. Why do people buy into the idea that things will improve if we "stay the course". Every week something bad happens, and every week it's exponentially worse than the last week. We got Saddam, killed his kids, dismantled his regime, and discovered that WMD's were highly overstated. It's time to "pull a Nixon"; declare victory, and leave before Iraqis forget why they hated Saddam.

3. I know who's to blame for this... |
|
Chickenhawk Rummy he wants to do everything on the cheap. Had he planned out things and given the military what it wants and needs things might be different. But things are at a point where no matter what you do, it can't be fixed.

7. So we are supposed to believe the generals there like seeing convoys blown |
|
up because he can't send enough troops to protect them. It would be funny if their weren't people out there that honestly do believe that.
