$25 billion Five more months? |
|
Kristol was on Wash Journal this morning - I couldn't hear it all, so no commentary.
However, I think one caller asked about the $5 billion a month cost for Iraq. Kristol gulped and said something stupid.
So, does that mean they are only asking for FIVE MORE MONTHS?
Everyone who hasn't seen it, should watch the money move on out on www.costofwar.com

that the $25 Billion was a contingency fund in case it was needed for on-going operations in Iraq.
Contingency in this case means I don't have to tell you how I'm going to spend it!
The congress should demand that Shrub tell us EXACTLY how the money will be used.
Fool me once, shame on you....fool me twice....ummm...ah...ya can't get fooled again.

2. That should be $5 billion MORE per month. |
|
We were already supposed to have funded the war to cover expenses for this year, don't forget.
Of course, seeing as how the "mission" was "accomplished" last May, it's understandable that Shrubby underbudgeted. He figured he could get by on $87 billion.
