U.S. looking to catch Osama before July?
Can someone tell me what would be the significance of these particular 10 days? Isn't this when the Democratic convention will be going on?

"Just to pass on some added information, about which we'll be saying more. There is chatter in Pakistani intelligence circles that the US has let the Pakistanis know that the optimal time for bagging 'high value' al Qaida suspects in the untamed Afghan-Pakistani border lands is the last ten days of July, 2004."

1. sneaky collusive bastards
It would be just like them to have him stashed away in a little glass vial to break out and use in case of emergency. I know, it's a bit paranoid. Must be the weather.

2. Saw this a while back...

(Comic from Not Banned Yet)

It really wouldn't surprise me if closer to the election, Osama was "mysteriously" found. To make things better, they'll more than likely find him hiding out in Iraq. :eyes:

3. Yeah, that's rich!
But this news still surprises me. Even after all the other BS, I didn't think they'd pull this, not at the risk of national security.

4. It just confirms once again...
How cynical this administration is. They would time something as important to the security of the Nation as the capture of Osama to political expedience. It just confirms to me they let him escape a few years ago just to keep him around in case they needed to "pull the rabbit out of the hat".

Given what is happing with these idiot criminals, they need that, and more!! Where is the mainstream press on this crap?? Out feeding at the trough with the rest of the pigs, no doubt.

5. Why not just get Bush to ask his brother?
Bin Laden's brother Salem, that is. He was a partner in George W's oil venture, if I'm not mistaken. The one that went belly-up. I'm sure they must chat together about old times, from time to time.
