Imagine if this had occurred under Clinton. |
|
All the whining the Republicans are doing about Kerry politicizing the Iraqi torture scandal is just laughable. How can this be viewed in any other way? It was the Bush policies that got the US into this mess. Poor reasoning for going to war, poor planning of the war, ill equipt and poorly trained troops along with no exit strategy lead to the chaos and revenge mentality that triggered the abuse.
Yes, this is political. Good grief, look how the Repugs politicized a blow job? That was just silly. This is justified and the Repugs would be clamoring for Clinton to be Impeached over this if it had happened on his watch.
OUr new mantra: Yes, it's political. Get used to it.

1. Clinton would have been impeached a dozen times over |
|
if he had attempted half of what this administration has done.
And if Clinton would have done what this administration has done, I would have been right in line calling for his impeachment. That's the difference between Republicans and Democrats.

8. Well of course, it's only one of many many differences |

Democrats may feel a loyalty to our party too, I know I do - but it doesn't trump everything else as it seems to do with most repukes.
It's all so very pot/kettle when they start on about partisanship.

I decided the repugs are the most hateful people in the world, yes that is with a broad brush, but it is the way I feel. Those sorry bast****, what a bunch of hypocrits.
I also blame the dumb general public, what a bunch of pablum fed idiots.
I remember part of a line in "men in black" that went something like
people are dumb, they don't have a clue and don't want a clue.

That smell you smell is their stink of flop-sweat and fear farts. They are now, as I predicted they would be, flailing. The Party of Personal Responsibility knows no other tactic than to blame their every failing on Democrats. It is their only strategy for tough times. They have no other.
And you know what? They haven't even gotten near the end of all this. Pop the popcorn.

President Clinton would have been impeached many times by now for pulling the stupid stunts pulled by Bushco. Lying in the SOTU, lying to the UN, invading a country in violation of the UN Charter, violating the Geneva Convention and now the prisoner abuse/torture scandal.
