The Defense Department strongly denied the claims made in the report, which cited unnamed current and former intelligence officials and was published on the magazine's Web site. Pentagon spokesman Lawrence Di Rita issued a statement calling the claims "outlandish, conspiratorial, and filled with error and anonymous conjecture."

2. Someone connected with * called him a terrorist a while back
Can't remember who it was. They hate Sy Hersh. He speaks truth and it makes them crazy. It also makes them afraid. Very, very afraid.

5. The "neo"Cons are afraid of anyone who tells the truth.
Their agenda depends on lies, and having those lies exposed is something they will do anything to prevent.

We need to always remember that.

18. Odd that they didn't embelish on what exactly was
outlandish and why, conspiritorial and how, what exactly were the errors not to mention what exaclty is it they feel is conjecture and why.

Odd also that none of the media has asked these questions.

I think Shemp was a comic genius. It just takes a long time to figure him out because he was so far ahead of the curve.

13. oh, I'm a huge fan of Shemp, voted "ugliest man in Hollywood"
but these guys had the temerity to go with "Curly Joe" as their spokes-stooge. Shameful choice. Wolfowitz will probably trot out General Joe Besser next.
