Most people probably won't care, and I honestly don't think they should, to tell you the truth. I do think it would be good for everyone to know, simply because it's the truth, but he simply bears no responsibility for actions committed before he was even born.
It IS a fun retort whenever right-wingers say, "Don't call him Hitler," though! (He might actually go up in the eyes of his right-wing fundamentalist base, come to think of it....)
