Preparing for the worst election year in history... |
|
Edited on Sun May-16-04 01:14 PM by TruthIsAll
Everything is going in favor of the Dems. We are energized. We are united. The Bush War on Terror is a failure. Iraq is a fiasco. Our foreign policy is in shambles. Bush is hated world wide. The economy sucks, when you look at the professional jobs lost and the menial jobs created. The CIA wants Bush to pay for his multiple sins (Plame, manipulating intel).
Bush is free-falling in the polls. We have a war-hero running against an AWOL deserter. The Democrats are the emerging majority party. Over the last three elections, Dem presidential candidates received 52.6% of the vote vs. the Repukes 47.4%. Gore WON last time. With the media whores trying every trick in the book to dehumanize him and prop up Bush.
Kerry appears to be well on his way to a landslide, considering that Bush is at 42% and it's only May. Six months to go. There is no way Bush can redeem himself. And yet, and yet.... we expect the worst: Diebold? A catastrophic "terror" attack? Martial Law? We know the other foot will soon drop.
So the question for Kerry and the rest of the Dems, what are you going to do when the worst happens? Will you support Bush, give him the benefit of the doubt as you have done consistently from the beginning? In other words, will you let him get away with it?
Or are you going to fight like hell for all of us?

1. Yes, TIA, I've been thinking about this today... |
|
This cabal isn't going to just waltz out of the WH next January, simply pulling the J's and K's off any keyboards they leave behind. Kerry's team needs some serious contingency planning.

not forget that he is a fighter. Look at his actions in Vietnam and look at his actions when he came home from Vietnam. Just because we aren't seeing his fighting spirit today, doesn't mean he lacks it. I think he will fight for us and I also think the closer we get to November, the more the fighter in him will come out. It is there. When he decides it is time to fight, there isn't a doubt in my mind he will make it a good fight.

any honor when the stolen 2000 election was certified. I trust contingency plans are being made. If the Bush Crime Family is allowed to steal the 2004 election, it will be the end of the Republic.

He KNOWS what he is doing!
Chimp has blown 80 million on his asinine ads and he's still losing. JK is being smart holding his trump cards until they are needed.
If President Asshole DARES to try to suspend elections, ALL HELL WILL BREAK LOOSE.
We already know how pissed the Joint Chiefs of Staff are at the Neoconstipated assholes driving this country into the ground. They will NOT let His Ass Holeyness get away with this shit!
I heard the same kind of shit thrown at JK in 1996 when everyone said he had no chance against Weld...BTW, WHERE IS "SENATOR WELD", eh?????

but it's a Diebold glass and it has a hole in the bottom so we have to go on filling it over and over again.

7. Direct action--non-violent civil-disobedience--on a moment's notice: |
|
Edited on Sun May-16-04 03:19 PM by beam_me_up
I said this a couple weeks ago: I believe we need to be ready to, if necessary, go into direct action--non-violent civil-disobedience--on a moments notice.
I proposed that we establish a list of "potentials" that would lead to certain actions (perhaps of various kinds). In other words, rather than organizing an event to take place in the future at a set time and place, to PRE-ARRANGE that IF something were to happen, this or that ACTION would be taken.
Anyone else interested in this? We have the technology to do this--AND ON A LARGE SCALE, IF WE ORGANIZE AND PREPARE IN ADVANCE--right here at our fingertips.
