The Shrub is going to Normandy in June??? |
|
Is he going to make a landing?
Dress up in an Eisenhower jacket?
Wear a Ronald Reagen mask?
How many security troops and military guards will it take to keep all the French away from him?
I can see it all. Coming out of the front of an old LCU, slogging through the breakers to the beach. Planting the American flag in the sand. Whipping out an old west Texas water witch, and trolling the beach looking for oil just like in the days of Arbusto.
Awsome !!!!!!!

They LOVE Shrub TO DEATH in that neighborhood.
Pro-gun, pro-military, pro-Jesus, pro-life zealots abound there.

6. It would be a perfect opportunity for him to insult France again! |
|
I'm sure he'll go and have pepsi with his pate', act like the moron he is, and infuriate Europe with his presence.

10. Saving Junior's Privates... |
|
Edited on Mon May-17-04 08:34 AM by IMRadioactive
If there's a military photo-op this slime merchant can get away with, he'll do it...but I get a feeling Junior's not gonna go too far from either Washington or the Pig Farm in Waco much this year. Anything International will be so staged even the breathing will be synchronized.
As the son of a medic who came through Omaha on Day 2, and knowing how much he detested this imposter (his last vote was against this loser), I know he would be offended by someone who had gone AWOL desecrating this special place. Eddie Slovik was put in front of a firing squad for what Bunnypants did.
Junior will stick to the "friendly" bases...and those appear to be getting on a short list these days.
On Edit: I love those signs! I'm hoping to go to Hell sometime, soon...on my way to some Fried Chicken in Frankenmuth.

11. Normans make a careful distinction between Bush and Americans |
|
from a Times article a couple of days ago:
“The Normans feel very close to the United States,” said Jean-Marie Girault, who survived the allied destruction of Caen in 1944 and went on to serve for 31 years as the city’s mayor and as a senator. “In 1994, at the 50th anniversary, we had no misgivings, but this time there is a damper on the occasion, although not to the point of excluding Bush.”
At Sainte-Mère-Église, the village liberated by US parachutists hours before the landings, Marc Lefèvre, the mayor, said: “Normandy loves the Americans, but not to the extent of condoning the present US Government’s actions in Iraq.”
In Arromanches, the village that became Britain’s beachhead, and where President Chirac will host the international ceremony on June 6, Patrick Jardin, the mayor, said that events in Iraq had caused deep disappointment. “Normandy does not want to confuse things,” he said. “We want to remember the spirit of the Americans who came to fight for our freedom. That was 60 years ago. I do not think Iraq will ever be celebrated.”
