And there've been some rumors about him maybe running for governor. He apparently was recently named "Democrat of the Year" by the Ohio Democratic Party, and Novak was sneering at the prospect of Springer being Democrat of the Year, saying that says a lot about Democrats when Springer is the best one.

Begala said something to the effect that Springer might have a disgusting show, but he didn't lie us into war, he didn't lie about weapons of mass destruction, et cetera.

Novak then started screaming over Begala, saying, "Do you think Jerry Springer is the Democrat of the Year? Do you think Jerry Springer is the Democrat of the Year?"
