Chalabi is another blatant example of Bush incompetence.... |
|
Nancy Pelosi's comments could not have come at a more timely moment. The press was reporting on the raid on Chalabi's house in Baghdad. Just a couple of days before, we were reading about Bush and hte Pentagon cutting off Chalabi's allowance of $340,000 per month. Reportedly, he has been paid over $40 million dollars since the "war" started. Now, all of a sudden, he is dropped like a hot potato?
It has been known for some time that he "played" George W Bush and Dick Cheney for fools. It was his supposed "intelligence" that was the main reason for bypassing the CIA and creating the Office of Special Plans in the White House. He was being groomed to be the new president of Iraq. And now, he is on the other side of the fence, accused of being a spy for Iran by some.
Do we really need a more perfect example of Bush's incompetence? And on the same day that Democratic Leader Pelosi makes her remarks about his incompetence? And Tom Delay should have one of those tall joker hats, with little bells at the pointed top, for suggesting that it is all due to "Democrat hatred" of Bush. Bush is incompetent...and so is Tom Delay.

3. Won't it be fitting if DeLay is indicted and the democrats demand |

an apology from him? Like that would ever happen, but I would sure love to see the look on his face!
Uncle Dickhead and Donny Boy should take the fall for this one. I believe the CIA were not willing to trust this guy, hence the OSP being created. I don't think the State Dept. liked him either. Of course, Dickhead and Donny didn't pay attention! They had a guy who was telling them exactly what they wanted to hear!
Incompetence, that doesn't seem a harsh enough word.

5. To think that Ahmed "Jalopy" |

...would be welcomed as president of Iraq, being a convicted crook & not having lived there since the 1950's, is indeed one of MANY examples of Bush' incompetence.

And I've been thinking for about a year that that's where this administration is vulnerable. Evil can sound strong to some people. Incompetence is weak. Both are incalcuable dangers to this country and to the world and this administration is both. I think we should stress the incompetence, though. It's demonstrable and non-subjective. It's increasingly non-partisan, in fact.
