Anyone sit through Sean Hannity on CBS this morning? |
|
I was surprised because Sean HATES CBS! He constantly trashes Andy Rooney & Dan Rather & says CBS is the all liberal network.Anyone remember what he said about CBS when Richard Clark was plugging his book? What about what he said about 60 Minutes when they broke the prison abuse scandal? So, I was VERY surprised Sean would agree to be interviewed.(althought he claims Fox News is 'fair and balanced', I think its shows how fair CBS is allowing Sean to be heard since just a couple weeks ago they ran a similar story with Al Franken.Still, Repugs will continue to tell you CBS is NOT FAIR!
I think the girl who interviewed him did a pretty good job.ANyone else think they showed him for the fool that he is?WOnder what the Freepers are saying

1. What I want to know is why all the networks think... |
|
... that interviewing each other's talking heads passes for news....

2. Yes! It's the worst sort of journalistic incest. |

Every time I see it, I feel like using the Elvis Remote.

3. An aberration for me... |
|
I almost always watch Sunday Morning because it's a respite from the unpleasant news of every day. I checked for the details online and found that Hannity was one of the topics. Hannity makes me sick, which deviates from the reason to watch Sunday Morning.
In other words, I skipped it.
I figured it was a balance to the interview with Franken, which I enjoyed very much.

Wow! They had someone under 18 doing the interview? Surely, if she were over 18 you would have accorded her the respect she deserves.

For future reference, using the term "girl" to describe a woman is considered to be rude.
Having said that, I do not believe that the original poster was at all being overtly sexist. Just a reminder to my progressive friends...language is powerful, let's use it well.

12. No, but that word use is there for a reason. |
|
Language is important. We call our troops boys because of the way we all feel responsible for them. Calling women girls is condescending and disrespectful.
Its a minor point, but why not change minor things.

He'll shill for his book anywhere anytime. If CBS offered him more $$$ to leave FOX, he would. There's no honor with a dork like that. - except to the DEVIL!!! COULD IT BE SATAN

Rush and Sean both talk about principles, but either one would sell their soul for a buck and would have been talking on air as a liberal if that is what sold. Actually I think Sean is worse than Rush- Sean will be running for office while Rush is smart enough not to do that.
