Watched the movie "Dave" today - sort of a surreal moment
as I was flipping back and forth to talking heads on commercials. Wonder if it was just a coincidence that TBS showed that movie at this time?

1. I LOVE that movie!
The way the evil Chief of Staff (Frank Langella) treats Dave is how I imagine Cheney treating threating the Chimp. Scary!

2. Except for one major difference...
...Dave clearly has excellent moral character and has the brains to uncover the Chief of Staff's plans.

The Chimp deserves everything he gets.

4. Yes, true
You know, it actually makes me sad to watch that movie. It shows good winning out over evil. Sadly unlike our real life situation. :(

5. Don't know - the damn is breaking at the White House
Today the Cheney coordinating Halliburton contract story broke, and major networks are picking it up (CBS and ABC so far), the Rumsfeld and Abu Ghraib stories are going away. Don't lose heart - good may yet win out in this one! It's just real life, not a movie that can be wrapped up neat and tidy in 90 minutes.
