Waiting for the Other Shoe to Drop...What's Next? |
|
Two questions for those who have a strong premonition or a good guess:
1) In which area of life will the next Bush scandal occur?
2) Which scandal(s) will lead to criminal charges?

Cheney's personal management of a no bid contract awarded by the pentagon for oil infrastructure reconstruction. email already found says that Cheney personally handled this one. No way the Veep should even be involved in a contract like this. I'm sure the GAO and congress will start pulling at the threads.
Also, the failure to stop the next terrorist attack in the US (slated to occur sometime this summer). Another LIHOP, hopefully investigated quickly instead of years later (but I suspect not).

Killing and greed seem to be high moral attributes with them. Maybe if we were to spend $75 million on an investagation we could find out.

Halliburton, mmm......
I'm coming off of a grueling weekend. Halliburton protest on Friday with our loving Freepers, two days with Mom and Dad who think that Bush is the right guy.....I'm so glad it is Monday and I have a day off. Who else is with me?
And truly what does it matter where the next scandal comes from. Most of the Americans we talk with everyday have not a clue. Scandal ='s Bill Clinton and he lied about sex. That was a really bad guy.

1. Supreme Court to Deliver Key Decisions"This is a term that will be remembered for what the court says about executive power," said Bradford Berenson, a Washington lawyer who worked in the Bush White House. "And it will be played as either the president overreached and abused his power, or that the president was vindicated."2. Cheney energy task force. Environmentalists sought to pierce the secrecy that surrounded Vice President Dick Cheney's energy policy group, and a judge ordered the White House to turn over documents on who met with the task force. Bush's lawyers want the judge's order thrown out. (Cheney vs. U.S. District Court)

There are at least a few possible shoes ready to drop. The Supreme Court will issue a ruling this summer on Dick Cheney's energy papers as well as the legality of holding US citizens without access to due process.
I suspect there will be indictments in the Valerie Plame case this summer too.
And then, there's "Fahrenheit 911," that should provide some additional fodder.

The slime can do whatever he wants and the media looks the other way. When will everyone exhale for a moment and realize they love the scumbag.

A massive terrorist attack the first week of June, leading to martial law.
This was published in the Spanish press. I don't believe it was translated.
Heard this from Webster Tarpley a few days ago at the Toronto 9/11 inquiry.
