Calling All Clarkies, Calling All Clarkies...
Support one of our own...

Since General Clark dropped out of the race for the Democratic Presidential nomination, many dedicated Clarkies on DU have donated to candidates who supported General Clark during his campaign... Will you do it again?

A dear friend of mine, Lisa Pryor is challenging a Republican incumbent in Oklahoma State Senate District 15. I first met Lisa at a Draft Clark meeting I attended at the Oklahoma Democratic Party Headquarters in Oklahoma City shortly after the General announced his candidacy. During a time when many were unsure of how to support General Clark, she organized a group of college students and local supporters to make phone calls to voters and write letters to legislators urging them to support the General's candidacy.

As the campaign progressed, she continually impressed those of us helping with the campaign because she always kept us on task while also donating hundreds of Clark bars and home-cooked meals to our cause. As a Co-Coodinator for Cleveland County, Lisa tirelessly campaigned door to door with us and helped us marshal resources for a rally held at the University of Oklahoma just days before Clark won the OK primary on February 3rd.

Lisa is a beautiful person who truly represents the spirit of General Clark's candidacy. Even though this is only a local race, change has to start somewhere and I think she'll do us proud as both Clarkies and Democrats...

Check out her website at http://www.electlisapryor.com and, if you can spare the money, I hope you'll join me in donating to her campaign: http://www.electlisapryor.com/contribution.htm

1. Clark won Oklahoma didn't he?
He seems to have a strong base of support there.

3. Yeah, it was tight, but he won by a few
I voted for him. Got to see him speak at one of the union halls in Tulsa. Sincerity sometimes comes across best in person. I love the guy.
