I don't listen to Stern, however, he has a huge voice and if he can deliver the "wacko's" against Bush, I'm all for it.

Stern has learned that any voice of dissent against Bush and his federally controlled FCC is complete fascist censorship.

I support Stern and others to be able to speak their minds.

If one doesn't like it, turn it off.

I never listen or watch Fox news, but I would never want to censor it, (even though I'd love to).

I used to visit that site daily because I would learn so much about football - in fact, non-football topics were strongly discouraged. But since 9/11, it seems the majority of posters are decidedly conservative/neocon/bushsupporters and it just isn't as much fun visiting there.

Anyway, there was a poster there named Pam (I won't mention her last name) who was also a teacher in Kansas and I was wondering if you were her. If you are her, "Hello" and "It's a small world, huh?" :^)

I haven't posted over there in months, but I did participate in a spirited but polite debate regarding Bush's TANG service - I agreed with the thread originator that Bush was AWOL and I insisted that the Bush supporters prove their assertions that military urinalysis tests did not screen for THC and other drugs. They couldn't prove it, of course.

10. F the FCC

I listen to Howard every morning
and Stern's alot smarter than most give him credit for.
He revolutionized the radio industry and much of what you
see and hear on television and radio began with Stern.
Countless bits of his have been stolen and renamed including
Leno's jaywalking. Leno sucks.

And Stern has not backed off Bush. How could anyone say Stern is a wacko when we have a president who talks to Jesus. Stern talks the truth and exposes hypocrites like Bush. His web page is basically
dedicated to bashing Bush and he consistently attacks Bush
on the radio. Sadly, Mel Karmazin resigned which is a bad sign
for Stern. Mel brought Howard in and defended him when no one else would. If the FCC comes down on Howard again, it may be the end
of him on public radio.

radio show that has made me laugh over the years. Even if you dont like his stuff it must be nice knowing there is someone out there who is able to speak his mind without government intervention.
