Forensic Science Busts Mouse-In-My-Soup FRAUD

OK, you heard about the woman who found a mouse (eek!) in her soup at a Cracker Barrel restaurant, right?

Have you heard that she's now being charged with FRAUD and EXTORTION?

It seems that she brought the mouse (dead, of course) to the restaurant and slipped it into her soup.

The mouse was shown to have died of a fractured skull, had no soup in its lungs, and was not at all cooked.

Sounds to me like her plot to extort money was half-baked, too!

It could have been running by after the soup was made, got it's head hit with a closing cupboard door and fell into the soup.

Of course, for this scam to work, they would have to bave been making the soup on the floor....

5. Doesn't prove conclusively that it was fraud.

It PROBABLY was, but there's still a reasonable doubt here. There are all kinds of plausible explanations for the mouse getting into the soup after it had died, other than the woman doing it herself. One the employees could even have put it in.

he is an employee. CNN didn't say what each was alleged to have done in this scam.
