Cover blown due to a drunk American soldier who wanted to blab...
Great. Just great. If true.

Just watching ABC News on TV and they said an American soldier leaked some news that the US was spying on Iran regarding terrorism.

WTF?!?!

I found only this from their website:

http://abcnews.go.com/wire/World/ap20040602_1034.html

Why the hell can't their newscasts reflect what's on their website?!

All of this sounds utterly ridiculous. Has anybody heard anything on this that makes it CREDIBLE?!

1. Was he a private or a general ?
Privates don't usually have access to that highly sensitive info, do they?

3. Do you think that the great Ahmed Chalabi ever hung out with a private?
It's all brass and gold for him, no doubt!

2. I thought it was Chalabi
But I guess that would trace back to the Chimpministration, so let's blame a low-level soldier. Again.

4. The correct story is that Chalabi apparently leaked info that
the U.S. had cracked hte Iranian communications codes. This had to come from someone high up in the Pentagon probably just below Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz. (read Feith or Cambone).
