Democrats do not usually win special elections.....
I think it had been 10-15 years since the Democrats had won any special elections until Chandler won in KY. Then Herseth won in SD. That's two in a row! That has to be considered a positive for Democrats, don't you think?

1. Can't help but feel it's a good omen
of things to come. Happiness would be a surprise win of all three branches of govt, and a Tom DeLay loss would be the cherry on top.
