Are any of you seeing this? Go, Mike Wallace! He's telling the truth about the Iraqi war ...... "it's not a war I believe in..."

3. Okay, I'll try....
and hope that anyone else who saw it will help me here. I was switching back & forth, and typing on a DU message. Wild Bill ran a clip of Mike wallace speaking somewhere, I believe on 5-28. C-Span apparently had filmed it. Wallace basically called WW2 a noble war, then made a statement identifying the Iraq war as distinct in nature from WW2. He was clearly offended by the white house's efforts to "connect" the two. He said this war is "not noble." (!)

Wild Bill respects Wallace, but questioned his doing this over the Memorial Day weekend. Wallace called the show, and described what happened, and why he feels so strongly. Apparently two republi-thugs tried to physically intimidate Wallace and a friend after he said this.

O'Reilly actuall feigned being human. Wallace said that perhaps he should not have spoken out at the event, but he clearly is sickened by the administration's cheap attempt to connect WW2 and Iraq2.

I will appreciate any additional information from others who saw it. I must be honest, and say it knocked the wind out of me! It was one of the great short pieces of journalism in my life time! I respect Mike Wallace.
