Question: Is Chalabi under arrest / US detention? |
|
I've tried to get this answered, but to no avail.
From what I've gathered, he's free, but under close watch. I really don't see why the Admin haven't picked him up and taken him somewhere, "for his safety."
Honestly, if what is reported is true, we should apprehend him for what would probably be a trial of espionage.
Does anyone have more info on the subject???

1. He's probably scheduling |
|
another round on the morning talk shows. Either that or if he is smart, packing his bags for an undisclosed location.

2. No. He's been negotiating with al-Sadr in Najaf..... |
|
with a couple of other representatives. No, they can't arrest him....they would have to kill him. But htey can't kill him until they get that information that he has been hiding from the Americans...

3. And they aren't going to get |
|
the information they want until they arrest him and by arresting him, it will automatically be released to the media in this country. He has them over a barrel big-time. He hasn't played the games he has throughout his adult life by being stupid.

4. No, he is not under arrest. |
|
Even though they are watching him closely, I would bet that he has money secreted somewhere, and he has his next little nest all feathered and waiting.
He will probably disappear to someplace where we cannot extradite him.
He did this in Jordan, and he will do it again, until someone kills him.
The neocons were conned by someone who is more professional at it than they are. It is just too bad that it is costing so many American lives, and so many American dollars. As if they care.

5. Chalabi is way smarter than |
|
The chumps he has been playing. He is half a dozen moves ahead of them. He will waltz out of this or turn it into another disaster for the occupation.
Chumpie and friends have made another big mistake by going public. They should have just whacked Chalabi and told his relatives they were next unless the records were coughed up... we would have had the records in short order.
But that would be RealPolitik and these fools are only playing a fantasy game version of it.

7. Crazy, crazy world..This whole incident reads just like a Tom Clancy novel |
|
I can't believe the more I read, it's straight fiction, but sadly, no it's all true. Clancy or LeCarre couldn't have written a better story. Damn, the Players got played again!
