My pick for the new DCI is . . . Paul Wolfowitz!
He's tanned, rested and ready. Ideologically pure, too.

|

I think I'd perfer someone who actually was an intelligence professional. There are many liberals in the CIA, NSA, DIA. Just gotta fine a good one.

4. Who did they send to Niger to confirm the "intelligence" on yellowcake? |
|
But, you can relax, really doubt they would nominate Joe Wilson. But I think he would be very capable. What they really need is an intelligent person that is knowledgeable about world affairs and diplomacy...someone like Wes Clark. But, it will most likely be an "insider"...regretfully.

5. Because he had been an Ambassador to a West African nation |
|
and as the EUCOM POLAD he had had many dealings with African nations. That doesn't make him fit to lead the CIA.
What they need is someone who KNOWS intelligence and not someone with political ambitions (NOT Wes Clark).

7. Can you define "intelligence"? |
|
Knowledge about Africa and the Middle East should be prerequisite, I would think?

6. Wilson just might be CIA himself. |
|
I don't want to be Bob Novak here, but it's a definite possibility when you think about it. Poppy named him as an ambassador to Iraq, and Poppy was CIA all the way. Plus it would be logical that he met his wife there.
