1. I thought it was a good idea . .
especially for Florida. Plus it seemed to brighten his image up from the usual dour look.

2. Isn't it the same color suit
Bush Sr. was wearing when he 'shoved' Clinton a few days ago?

6. Glad you posted this pic

I got a brief glimpse of him on the TV yesterday in this suit and I guess the color on my TV is messed up. The suit looked like it was yellow and with the red tie I almost barfed! Ya see, I have a problem visually with red and yellow together. I get physically ill. LOL!! I can see from the picture you posted that the suit is more of a cream color. Looks good!

11. Hey moof!

I'm glad people repost things on this board because with the rapid posting style so much good stuff gets buried so quickly. I'm only able to be on a few minutes at a time and you people have such great information! I know the mods don't want dupes of everything, but once in a while a repost on a interesting subject helps out us "read a bit, post a bit and run" people.

Love it here.

7. Yes, I posted about this after I saw the rerun of his nuke speech
a couple of days ago...

He looked a lot "brighter" and he delivered his speech well, too.
Much punchier. (May not be related, of course, but who knows??)

He should definitely wear light colors this summer!!

10. oh no, not the dread earth tones
cause we all know that clothes will determine presidential worthiness. i must say that the lack of funereal apparel might mean kerry does not take things very seriously.

<sarcasm off now>

12. If anyone else

If anyone else tried to wear those colors, I think they might come off looking like a Baptist preacher. But on Kerry the only term that comes to mind is "patrician". Now if that's a good thing or a bad thing, I don't know. Let me put it this way. Only a true, died in the wool PATRICIAN could get away with cream over red while running for the Presidency. :)

13. abso-freaking-lutely!
I was just commenting to a friend of mine how much better I thought Kerry looked in the lighter suit. It just brightens him up, somehow.

I noticed that MSNBC's Keith Olbermann, who also has a lot of silver in his hair, also looks good in lighter suits. So I think it's something to do with how the suit balances that beautiful silver hair of Kerry's.

The dark suit calls attention to his gravitas ... the light suit calls attention to his sex appeal.

15. Agreed, Get the Wooden Stake for the "Earth Tones Issue"
It's been popping up here, like, we don't need our enemies to bring it up.

Actually, when JK flashes a huge smile, he looks good no matter what he's wearing. If somebody needs to tell him anything, it's this: SMILE more, SMILE often, SMILE SMILE SMILE.

he should dress like that more often when he speaks outdoors. Makes him look 15 years younger.

20. My only problem...
is with that particular color. It makes him look a little jaundiced (though that could just be the picture quality). Light colors are good, especially in the summer. But he might want to stay away from anything with too much yellow in it. I speak from personal experience. When I wear shades with too much yellow in them I look jaundiced too.

26. No, not for a national security speech.
It looks soft. It starts looking like John Lennon's white suit on the cover of Abbey Road.
