1. I signed the petition and sent an email... |
|
...asking him not to run in the first place, before he announced his candidacy. He didn't listen then, so I doubt he'll listen now. He's not interested in what is best for America.

2. I used to respect Ralphie but |

now I am absolutely flabbergasted at the ego of this asshole! A think tank out to be devloped at either MIT, Harvard, or SUNY at Buffalo to attempt to determine how this guy became such as asshole in such a relatively quick time.

I don't even blame him for the 2000 fiasco, since I feel that Bush being appointed by the Supreme Court and not being able to do a total recount was the problem. I don't think anyone in 2000 could have predicted that BushCo. would be so detrimental to the U.S. and world, not even Nader.
But now, there just isn't any excuse for him not knowing the damage Bush has (and can) do.
When Nader announced that he was polling to see if he should run, I became concerned and went to his website, as did many others, to let him know that I thought he should sit it out--I didn't yet realize the extent of his ego and lack of concern for America.
Now I do. That's why I feel it's pointless to sign this petition--he's not going to listen.

7. I used to think it was a recent thing too... |
|
...but my father was telling me that when he was in college in the early seventies he saw Ralph Nader speak and he walked away thinking that he was megalomaniacal or something like that. And someone else here said that he's been floating the "little difference between the parties" line since the seventies too (which should make you think - was the Republican Party really anything like it is now back then, and since it's not, can you really say there's little difference anymore).

3. I signed it and I don't even live in the US..I used to admire Nader |

now I can't stand the dude..there are some things way too important were your personal ambition has to be put aside..and getting rid of Bush is one of them. The longer Bush stays the more people die.
