This is how to take it to the press. Good for Cegelis!
Also we donated to her via internet as a Dean Dozen a few days ago. Got a personal mail today. She impresses me.

You know how the press is building wedges in the Democratic party, and no one is standing up and addressing it? This is how you do it.

Cegelis Makes Roll Call: Not an insider?
Any thoughts, "outsiders" who actually live outside the beltway and are in touch with the people? Shall we prove the "insiders" wrong on November 2nd?

Dean’s Dozens: Lighting a Fire, Or Just Blowing Smoke?

June 3, 2004
By Stuart Rothenberg,
Roll Call Contributing Writer

Howard Dean’s new organization, Democracy for America, has already released the names of two dozen state, local and federal candidates who, it says, “represent the spirit of grassroots democracy” and “will all spread the message that to change America, progressives must compete.” Six of the 24 hopefuls are running for Congress. Judging by those House hopefuls, it’s clear that “electability” isn’t one of the criteria that Dean has used in selecting his favored candidates. (WHICH HE SAYS CONSTANTLY...my comment.)

SNIP..."Finally, Christine Cegelis, another first-time candidate, is making a quixotic challenge against Rep. Henry Hyde, the 15-term Republican Congressman from Illinois’ 6th district. Bush carried Hyde’s district by nine points while Al Gore carried the state by 12 points. While Hyde’s district seems to be becoming less Republican, it isn’t competitive candidates..."

1. Here is CNN trying to divide by using Edwards........
They are doing this all the time now. Note the use of the word "liberal" and "left" to divide the party.

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/06/03/thu/index.html

SNIP..."WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The Left gathers in Washington's Woodley Park today to rally around John Kerry with rallying cries from George Soros, Hillary Clinton and Howard Dean. And that's all before lunch. (None are lefties.)

Sen. John Edwards was scheduled to follow Soros on stage this morning at the "Take Back America" conference, but he bowed out.

Edwards cited a scheduling conflict, but the conspiracy wags among us wonder if the veep-wannabe, otherwise ubiquitous, didn't wanna be seen headlining a lefty-left forum during these crucial veep-selection weeks. (Don't buy it? Answer this question: Would a photo of Edwards shaking hands with Arianna Huffington help or hurt his veep prospects? We can already imagine the RNC web ad.)

This is all so silly, and they are doing it everyday. We really need to speak out on this.
