34. Now you know why he so hated by the RW and the dittoheads
He's a man, who because of his family background, looks down on no one. He genuinely like people of all races and religions. He is self-assured, confident, humble and gracious. A man from humble, even poor beginnings and he recognizes that he is. Most dittoheads jump any chance to look down on others and don't have the sense to realize that they are among the group who is being pissed on by the wealthy elite. As long as they are made to believe that they have a right to look down on others, they feel good---filled with hate---but they feel good.

When a President could finish a sentence without forgetting how he started it.

in ten minutes and amazingly well, too.

Imagine bush trying to do that. No, just TRY to imagine him TRYING to do that. You can't, can you?

I am missing this guy more and more the longer I listen to him. It is also getting me very excited to read the book now. I have pre-ordered it, but now I'm psyched up!

He is making very good points about periods of upheaval in America.

47. Clinton beating Bush at (supposedly) his own game
Namely optimism about America. "No country in history has been undone by terrorism." We're in a transitional stage, and we'll get through it. We're a country who values our common humanity more than anything else.

Clinton's up there radiating unafraidness. It's making me realize how used we've gotten to having a president who radiates fearfulness and uncertainty behind a mask of bravado.

Now he's shaking hands... have to see if my two co-workers at the convention get a handshake...

52. DAMN, I miss that man!!
THAT man is the very definition of diplomatic. He managed to walk a verrrry thin line there, being careful not to hand out any true insult, but still making sure his message came across loud and clear (for those smart enough to pick upon it, I'm sure the freepers etc are sitting back going, "See, even Clinton thinks Dumbya is doing things right")

I LOVED how he was very clear that he would support an increase of troops to combat terrorists in ~AFGHANISTAN~ (with NO mention of Iraq).

Someone who is even half as perceptive would such an improvement.

and it's just so relaxing. You have so much confidence in his knowledge. His delivery is folksy but articulate. Contrast his style and ability with the current Post Turtle fraud's vulgar stupidity and halting speech delivery. Don't we all yearn for someone in the WH with a brain.
