Zinni on Norvell now!!!
Said there really was no clear evidence of WMDs so they took out the weapons Saddam had that were permissible. Felt they did a good job under Clinton. Wrong war, wrong time, wrong reason.

1. Zinni slamming the Neo-Cons on Norvell.
This is huge stuff, he claims he speaking out against the Civilian leadership, Rummy, feith, Pearl, Chaney. Zinni, a Republican wants them out.

6. He said he voted Shrub based on mil reform, but mentioned Gore favored too
He liked the Powell, Armitage, etc bunch.

Said he regrets endorsing, would stay out of that probably now.

7. Zinni supported bush in 2000
Norville asked if he would be voting for bush again and he said it depended if the civilian leadership of the Pentagon had changed, implying that he may support bush again if he gets rid of Rummy, Wolfie and crew.

He also said he thought Clinton was "brilliant" but had problems with him because of his "moral failings".

I just can't figure out how Zinni can give W a pass for the bloody fiasco in Iraq. While millions of husbands are unfaithful to their spouses and lie about it, how many people have led our country into an unnecessary and "pre-emptive" war based upon lies? I don't approve of either, but the war is exponentially worse than infidelity.

9. Sounds more indie than repuke to me then
I mean a lot of non-repukes supported Bush in 2000. Doesn't make them repukes then or now.
