The timing of the resignation on the eve
of the D-Day anniversary says alot.

Bush is going to make his Iraq/WWII comparison
with Iraq going up flames, scandals popping
up like summer dandelions and his head of intelligence
(whom he alternately praises and shafts) unexpectedly
jumping ship.

Makes it look like the ship of state is the Titanic.

Plus the pundits are working overtime ripping into Tenet.
If he was shoved off or falling on his sword they'd be
silent.
